Waterjet cutting
High-pressure water and abrasive perform the cut without a thermal cutting process or heat-affected zone. Suitability is assessed against geometry, thickness and edge requirements where avoiding thermal effects is important.
Technical support from material selection to cutting, forming and custom component fabrication. We assess your requirements through operating conditions, component geometry and manufacturing needs—not plate dimensions alone.
Drawing on 15 years of technical service experience, we provide quality products and application-specific solutions for demanding conditions. We combine Australian-made BISALLOY® steel with material selection, engineering and fabrication support.
Our extensive warehouse infrastructure supports steel plate supply in 0.6–120 mm thicknesses and wear steel options in nominal hardness classes of 320–600 HBW. We support the design and manufacture of BISALLOY® parts to suit your dimensions and operating conditions.
BISALLOY® steelMade in Australia

Abrasion, impact, structural loading, operating temperature and joining requirements all influence material selection. Rather than pursuing hardness alone, we assess a suitable steel grade, thickness and processability. Your drawing or existing component helps us clarify the requirements, review product documentation and plan supply and fabrication.
0.6–120 mm describes our general plate supply scope, not the thickness range of every BISALLOY® grade. 320–600 HBW refers to nominal wear-steel hardness classes. Within the 4–200 mm cutting scope, the method depends on material, thickness and geometry. Stock, final dimensions and technical suitability are confirmed during quotation.
ProductsFor cutting requirements across 4–200 mm thicknesses, we select the appropriate waterjet, laser, plasma or oxy-fuel process for the material and part. Machining, drilling, press brake bending, roll bending and welding are coordinated with 3D design, engineering and production.
High-pressure water and abrasive perform the cut without a thermal cutting process or heat-affected zone. Suitability is assessed against geometry, thickness and edge requirements where avoiding thermal effects is important.
We consider the plate profile, hole layout and subsequent assembly together. Suitability depends on steel grade, thickness and required edge quality, with any finishing operations included in the production plan.
Plasma cutting is assessed for the component size and thickness. Thermal effects at the cut edge, dimensional requirements and subsequent welding or machining inform the process plan.
A thermal cutting option particularly relevant to thick sections. Cutting conditions and edge preparation are selected for the grade and thickness in accordance with manufacturer guidance.
Mounting faces, recesses and connection details are reviewed against the drawing. Tooling and operation sequence are selected for steel hardness and the component’s dimensional and surface requirements.
We clarify the diameter, position and tolerances of bolt and mounting holes. Drilling methods and tooling are assessed against material hardness, thickness and connection design.
Bend direction, inside radius, die opening and springback are considered together. Not every grade is equally suitable for bending; feasibility is checked against manufacturer guidance and component geometry.
Target radius, thickness and material grade are assessed for curved and cylindrical components. Springback and joining allowances inform production planning after forming suitability has been checked.
Joint design, consumables, heat input and any preheat requirements are considered against steel grade and joint thickness. The process must respect material properties and the component’s intended duty.
We translate dimensions and application requirements into a three-dimensional component model. Connection points, fit with adjacent parts and production details can be reviewed before fabrication.
Drawings, material, thickness and production steps are assessed together. Cutting, bending and joining decisions are coordinated around operating conditions and manufacturability, rather than treated as isolated operations.
We prepare BISALLOY® components to your drawing or defined requirement. Cutting, drilling, forming and joining operations are coordinated around the final component specifications.
We translate your requirements, dimensions and component geometry into a three-dimensional design.
We plan the steel grade, thickness and processing methods around the application requirements.
We coordinate cutting, machining, forming and welding to deliver a component suited to your project.
These descriptions explain our service scope, not application-specific manufacturing instructions. Final material decisions must be verified against the relevant current product documentation. The BISALLOY® guide below covers Structural and Wear steels; its parameters must not be transferred to Armour or Protection grades.
